We are very excited that you are taking the time to visit our website to learn more about our school.

The Segue Institute for Learning, one of the states newest charter schools, serves students in grades 6th to 8th from the City of Central Falls. The school was founded and created in 2006 as part of an on-going neighborhood mobilization movement that engaged all fassets of the community.

Opened in 2009, the school features:

The Segue istitute for Learning recognizes its students as "AT PROMISE" versus being considered "AT RISK". Segue promises to help students achieve academic excellence and be better prepared for high school, college, and the work force.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Segue Institute for Learning is to meet the individual needs of the early adolescent student. Segue provides its students with a unique educational experience and a venue for the exploration of individual interests. We recognize the middle school years as a time of change emotionally, physically, and socially. Segue has developed a safe, nurturing environment, which promotes diversity and encourages individual growth. This allows students to view themselves as citizens of change in their homes and community. Segue scholars enter school ready and committed to learn to make the best of their academic careers.
